Funds of the Foundation
The Community Foundation currently has over 170 funds, resulting in over $22 million in assets. These funds have been created by individuals, families and nonprofits to positively affect the community- forever! The flexibility of a community foundation allows each donor to determine how their fund will be directed and if the funds will be distributed to a specific organization, a field of interest, a scholarship or a donor may make their own recommendations throughout the year.
Areas of interest include the arts and history, children or youth based initiatives, education, specific towns or areas, and the health and human services.
Donations to all funds are always accepted in any amount. You can also support the Community Foundation by becoming a member of the Branching Out Society for an annual gift of $200 or more.
