Creating a Healthy & Vibrant Community

• To help create a healthy and vibrant community, the Community Foundation of Washington County works with a broad base of donors, nonprofits and volunteers throughout Washington County and offers assistance through grants and scholarships.
• The Community Foundation’s grant recipients are as diverse as the community we serve. Our broad focus and flexible approach bring opportunities for change to the local community.
• The Foundation has close to 20 available scholarships ranging from student’s interests to specific high schools.  
• The Unrestricted Community Grants has awarded close to $485,000 through the Foundation and accepts grant applications each October.
• The Women’s Giving Circle and the Mary K. Bowman Fine Arts Fund are also avenues for potential grants.
