This scholarship has been created in memory of Barry W. McAllister to celebrate his lifelong love of farming and agriculture. Beginning in 2011, the scholarship will be available to participants in Washington County 4-H programs. The goal of the fund is to also award a scholarship to a Future Farmers of America member at Clear Spring High School

Chris W. Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship, recognizing a graduating senior from a Learning Support Program of Washington County Public Schools is the first of it's kind in Washington County. Beginning in 2013, this scholarship fund will honor Chris's dedication to Learning Support Students by providing financial assistance to a student going on to post-secondary education.

Dr. Elizabeth Molina Morgan 2010 National Superintendent of the Year Scholarship Fund
A scholarship fund created in honor of Dr. Elizabeth Molina Morgan, Superintendent of Washington County Public Schools, for her 2010 distinction of the National Superintendent of the Year. This scholarship will be awarded each year to a female graduate of WCPS who demonstrates high academic promise and financial need.
Dwight Scott Scholarship Fund
A scholarship fund benefitting graduating senior athletes at Boonsboro High School; this fund is named in honor of longtime coach and friend of Warrior athletics, Dwight Scott.
George A. Sites Clear Spring High School Scholarship Fund
This fund was established by the Clear Spring High School Alumni Association to recognize and provide scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing a post secondary education. Recipients will demonstrate outstanding leadership and academic standing.
Helen and Gene Kline Scholarship Fund
An endowed scholarship fund created by the Kline’s to benefit students enrolled at Hagerstown Community College and majoring in either education or engineering.
IAAP Hager Chapter Scholarship Fund
This scholarship fund, created by the International Association for Administrative Professionals, will provide financial support to qualifying students pursuing a career in the administrative professional arena.

Magnolia Foundation Waltersdorf-Henson Endowment Scholarship Fund

A fund of the Waltersdorf-Henson Endowment Challenge for the benefit of the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown to be used to administer and provide scholarships for qualified students, with preference given to Washington County residents.
Scholarship sub-funds include:
- City of Hagerstown Scholarship for city residents actively involved in community activities and volunteerism
- Board of County Commissioners Scholarship for county residents actively involved in community projects, volunteerism and leadership.
- Citi Scholarship for deserving students from Maryland, Pennsylvania or West Virginia, with preference given to dependents of Citi employees.
- STEM for county residents with preference given to those majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
Mildred A Schmid 4-H Scholarship Fund
Created by the Mildred A. Schmid 4-H Scholarship Trust to provide scholarships to deserving students from the Washington County, Maryland area who will be studying in a post-secondary educational setting of their choice. Preference will be given to graduating high school seniors that have been involved with Washington County 4-H dog programs.
Mitchell Akers Leopard Spirit Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was created to memorialize Mitchell Aker's irrepressible spirit and his passion for all things Smithsburg! Awards will begin in 2013.

This fund was established by the Clear Spring High School Alumni Association to recognize and provide scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing a post secondary education. Two awards are made each year to students who demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and 1) excellence in science and 2) excellence in music.
