Women's Giving Circle

The Women’s Giving Circle works to improve the lives of women and their families in Washington County.  With a specific intent to grant to programs and initiatives that serve this population, the Women’s Giving Circle has so far awarded $20,000 in funds to programs fitting this mission.

In the face of current economic conditions, teen birth rates, and an increase of single mother households, this is a critical time for the Women’s Giving Circle as their mission statement is even more relevant. 

This fund is supported by the members of the Circle through initial pledges of $1,000 over a three year period, and $350 annual dues.  Junior memberships can be obtained for half of these amounts.  One time gifts and memorial contributions are also accepted.

In addition, several holiday events have been held to benefit local organizations, allowing members a more “hands on” approach.
