Applications Available for Bill Dorsey Scholarship for Barbara Ingram School for the Arts

The Bill Dorsey Scholarship, a component fund of the Community Foundation of Washington County MD, announces the availability of applications for Washington County students enrolled at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts (BISFA) as a sophomore, junior or senior. Preference is given to students with a concentration in dance or vocal performance. This scholarship of $550 helps offset the cost of materials, supplies and other elements directly related to a student’s art discipline at the school.After winning a People's Choice Award at the Community Foundation in 2008, Reverend Janice Dorsey chose to name the endowment established in her honor after her late husband, Bill; thus, creating the Bill Dorsey Scholarship for students attending BISFA.Online applications are due November 15, 2019.
