Applications Open for George R. Moore Wildlife Preservation Fund

The Community Foundation of Washington County MD announces the availability of applications for the George R. Moore Wildlife Preservation Fund. This grant will make its first annual award of $1,200 to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Washington County, Maryland, involved in wildlife preservation.George Moore was a farmer and an educator who passed away in 2013 in Williamsport. His estate created the George R. Moore Wildlife Preservation Fund to support organizations working to preserve wildlife in the local area.Online applications for this grant are due by 4:30 PM on December 1. Click here to apply.
