2020 Bill Dorsey Scholarship for the Barbara Ingram SchoolApplications are now being accepted for the 2020 Bill Dorsey Scholarship for the Barbara Ingram School. One chosen recipient shall receive $500.This fund was established in 2008 by Reverend Janice Dorsey when she was named a People's Choice Award winner. Reverend Dorsey chose to name the endowment created in her honor for her late husband, Bill. The scholarship is designed for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts to offset the cost of materials, supplies and other elements directly related to their arts discipline.Applicants must live in Washington County, Maryland and be enrolled at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts as a sophomore, junior or senior. Preference is given to students with a concentration in dance or vocal performance. Scholarship funds are paid to the BISFA Foundation and reimbursed to the student as qualifying expense receipts are received.CLICK HERE TO APPLYApplication deadline is November 15th at midnight.
