Chloe Prejean of Heritage Academy Receives Two Community Foundation Scholarships

Kristy Smith, director of grants and donor relations at the Community Foundation of Washington County, recently presented Chloe Prejean, a graduating senior at Heritage Academy, with the Meritus Healthcare Foundation Scholarship and the Ryan Myers Memorial Scholarship. The Meritus Healthcare Foundation Scholarship goes to a student accepted into a designated health care program, while the Ryan Myers Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Ryan for graduating seniors that demonstrate a strong Christian character.Chloe Prejean-Kristy-MeritusChloe Prejean was valedictorian of her class and played varsity volleyball, basketball and soccer, functioning as team captain of all three sports. She served as secretary of Key Club and volunteers at Emmanuel Baptist Temple, American Red Cross and Hagerstown Rescue Mission. Prejean will attend The University of Maryland, College Park and major in physical therapy.
