Community Foundation Awards Scholarships at North Hagerstown High School

The Community Foundation of Washington County recently awarded the following scholarships to four students at North Hagerstown High School:

  •  Melissa Collins Memorial Scholarship of $350 to Christopher Tich.
  • Christine Ecker Memorial Scholarship of $600 to Hannah Gleason.
  • Jon Christopher Gauss, Jr. Wrestling Scholarship of $500 to Trevon Brisbane.
  • Elizabeth Molina Morgan 2010 National Superintendent of the Year Scholarship of $2,500 to Camille Levine.

North High Schl6-17 Christopher Tich participated in concert choir, advanced choir and All-County Chorus. He has been a member of the Boy Scouts for ten years. Tich will attend Hagerstown Community College.Hannah Gleason was a cheerleader and participated in track, Calculus Club, Key Club and Link Crew. She will go to a four-year university in the fall.Trevon Brisbane was on both the wrestling and football teams and participated in math and science camp. He will go to Salisbury University and major in biology or pre-med to become a doctor or anesthesiologist.Camille Levine was president/captain of the Academic Quiz Team, president of Chess Club and a member of the National Honor Society, varsity tennis team and Calculus Club. She also volunteered for HEAL and the Washington County Commission on Aging. Levine plans to attend a four-year university and pursue an engineering degree.
