Community Foundation Donors Sponsor Film SCREENAGERS

The Community Foundation announces the sponsorship of two screenings of the Award-winning movie SCREENAGERS. The 68 minute film focuses on teen struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Through funny stories and insights from authors and psychologists, SCREENAGERS illustrates how tech time impacts kids’ development and offers solutions on how adults can empower them to best navigate the digital world.screenagersSponsored by the Rich and Susan Daughtridge Fund at the Community Foundation, the first screening will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church on 64 S. Main Street in Boonsboro on Saturday, November 11th at 7:00 PM in the sanctuary.The second screening in conjunction with the Boonsboro PTSCO and sponsored by the Thompson Family Fund is Thursday, November 16 at 7:00 PM in the auditorium at Boonsboro High School.Both screenings are free and open to the public. The film is geared towards elementary age children and older. Both parents and children are encouraged to attend.
