Community Foundation Events Cancelled

The Community Foundation of Washington County MD has been closely monitoring developments in the worldwide spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). After reviewing available public health information and carefully considering the impact our events may have on the spread of this disease, we have made the difficult decision to cancel a number of Community Foundation events through the end of March 2020.These events include the cancellation of the Washington County Gives Trainings on March 16 and 24, 2020, the cancellation of the Responsive Grants ceremony on March 19, 2020, the cancellation of the Board of Trustees meeting on March 19, 2020, and the cancellation of the nonprofit tour at the Boys and Girls Club on March 25, 2020. We will continue to assess the situation carefully, and we will provide additional updates as decisions are made regarding these and other future events.
