Community Foundation of Washington County Named 2022 Nonprofit of the Year

Wednesday, February 23rd, the 23rd Annual Business Awards were held at the Maryland Theatre. That evening, we were excited to learn we were named Washington County Nonprofit of the Year!

This award typically comes with a $1,000 winnings check, but we decided to split the winnings between the two finalists we shared this category with: Brooke's House and Meritus Healthcare Foundation. As the community's nonprofit with the mission of helping other nonprofits, we felt it was an important gesture to make.

We head into the year ahead feeling proud that we gained such recognition on this, our 25th year, and plan to continue to inspire, grow and steward philanthropy for the benefit of Washington County.
