George R. Moore Wildlife Preservation Grant Available

The Community Foundation of Washington County MD has applications open for the George R. Moore Wildlife Preservation Fund. This grant will award $1,300 to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Washington County, Maryland, involved in wildlife preservation. Past recipients include the Washington County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and Potomac Valley Audubon Society.George Moore was a farmer and an educator who passed away in 2013 in Williamsport.
