Kevin Barkdoll Livestock Memorial Fund Created at Community Foundation

Christine and Jason Barkdoll recently established the Kevin Barkdoll Livestock Memorial Fund at the Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc. to memorialize Kevin who passed away in 2016. Kevin was born in Hagerstown and graduated from Boonsboro High School. He received his Associate of Arts degree from Hagerstown Community College and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Salisbury University. Kevin worked at Trans Ova Genetics as an embryologist for several years.Kevin Barkdoll fund profileKevin’s family created the Kevin Barkdoll Livestock Memorial Fund because of his love for agriculture and showing livestock. He started showing dairy and pigs at the Washington County Ag Expo & Fair while in middle school and then showed beef as well in high school.This fund will provide financial support through a qualifying organization to a 4-H member between the ages of 9-17 to purchase an animal to show at the following year’s Washington County Ag Expo & Fair.
