Seeking Nominations for the 16th Annual People’s Choice Awards

The Community Foundation of Washington County MD seeks nominations for its 16th annual People’s Choice Awards Dinner, a yearly event honoring individuals from the community who exemplify the term “unsung hero.” The Foundation acknowledges individuals or a couple who give generously of their time and talents to make Washington County a better place to live. In addition to honoring three nominees at this event, the Foundation establishes a $5,000 endowment fund in their name for the local nonprofit of their choice. Over the years, dozens of nonprofit organizations have received distributions from the endowment funds created from a People’s Choice Awards’ winner.The People’s Choice Awards will take place on November 5 at Saint James School.
