Washington County Bar Association Presents First Scholarship

The Washington County Bar Association presented its inaugural scholarship of $1,000 to Evan McDonough. This scholarship helps residents of Washington County who are or will be students at the undergraduate or graduate level to assist in the study of the law in pursuit of a legal or paralegal certificate or degree. Applicants must demonstrate a high level of academic success and a commitment to community service.Travis Poole-Evan McDonough-18Evan McDonough graduated from Washington & Jefferson College and is currently pursuing his Candidate for Juris Doctorate at the University of Baltimore School of Law. He serves as chapter president for Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and the Pre-Legal Society. McDonough also participates in the Federalist Society, American Bar Association’s Law Student Division, College Republicans and the W&J Men's Club Volleyball. He plans to focus on community development during his law career.
