Williamsport High School Presents Foundation Scholarships

Williamsport High School presented the following Community Foundation scholarships:

  • Brendon Colliflower Memorial Scholarship of $1,000 to Charlotte Strite
  • Officer Christopher Nicholson Memorial Scholarship of $1,500 to Joseph Wolfensberger
  • Remsberg-Trout Scholarship of $500 to Amelia Baker
  • Chris W. Smith Memorial Scholarship of $700 to Joshua Reese WilliamsportHS8-16

Charlotte Strite played varsity soccer and tennis all four years of high school and was a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions, Link Crew and Interact Club. She also served as senior class president. Miss Strite plans to go to Duquesne University and major in physician assistant studies.Joseph Wolfensberger served as captain for both the football and tennis teams while participating in band, indoor percussion, chess club and academic team. He will attend Mount Saint Mary's University and major in criminal justice.Amelia Baker participated in jazz band, marching band, Link Crew, All County Orchestra, All County Band, All County Jazz Band, Shepherd Honor Band and Community Jazz Band. She will go to a four-year university and major in forestry to become an environmental conservationist.Joshua Reese is a hard working student and volunteers at the Maryland Food Bank-Western Branch. He will attend Hagerstown Community College and pursue a nursing degree.
