Williamsport High School Students Receive Scholarships

The Community Foundation of Washington County MD recently presented scholarships from the following funds to three seniors at Williamsport High School:• Joshua Reeder received the Chris W. Smith Memorial Scholarship of $725.• Sinjin Shoop received the Brendon Colliflower Memorial Scholarship of $1,000 and the Officer Christopher Nicholson Memorial Scholarship of $800.• Alexander Snouffer received the Remsberg-Trout Scholarship of $675.Williamsport SchRec8-15Joshua Reeder participated in Unified Sports for the past three years, which includes tennis, bocce ball and track and field, and volunteered at Heaven Sent Learning Center. He will attend Hagerstown Community College.Sinjin Shoop played football, baseball and wrestled every year in high school and belonged to both the National Honor and Hispanic Honor Society. He will attend Hagerstown Community College and major in criminal justice while continuing to play baseball.Alexander Snouffer was involved in the Science National Honor Society, Academic Team, Robotics Team, Jazz Band, Best Buddies, Unified Sports and varsity tennis. He plans to attend George Washington University and major in mechanical engineering.
