Now Accepting Applications: 2026 Responsive Grants

The 2026 Responsive Grant Program aims to foster collaboration over competition among local nonprofits by prioritizing funding for collaborative projects. The funding statement below will guide the Responsive Grant Program for 2026, 2027, and 2028:

 “In an effort to encourage collaboration rather than competition among local non-profit organizations, this year’s Responsive Grants will target collaborative partnerships between no fewer than two non-profits for initiatives that address the needs of our community.” 

While the funding statement will remain the same for three years, grants are awarded for one year only. Organizations must submit a new application each year, even if applying for continued support of a previously funded program. 

Applications will be prioritized based upon the following criteria:

·         Urgency: Programs that address urgent needs within the community

·         Innovation: New and creative approaches in program design and

implementation

·         Impact: The anticipated impact the program will have in the community

·         Sustainability: The program's ability to continue beyond the grant period
